i was considering making a blog after peer pressure...when i figured out everything to make it, and post, wasn't blocked at my work, i decided to do it! you see, i
had have a livejournal as well, but i never post on it anymore because the only time i can get on it at work [which is where i am most of the time] is for TEN MINUTES a day.
TEN! so for a while i was typing up posts in microsoft word and then posting them like super fast, but it's not as fun to have when i can't browse around and look at other peoples' journals. so here i am!
i'm going to make this more of an introduction post so if i get followers [a girl can wish, right?!], they will think they know me a little bit before reading all of my shit! k? k.
i've been with my current boyfriend, v, for just about 2 years now. we've been really good friends since i started high school in 2002 and on new years eve of 2008 [while i was still "with" my ex, but he wasnt celebrating new years with me...douche] something clicked. soon after the new year of 2009, i dumped said douche, and me and v got together [yay!]. it has been nothing but amazing ever since. it was awesome because we didn't have to go through any awkward "getting to know you" stages, since we had been like bffs since the beginning of high school! he's my bestest friend. he makes
everything all better and i could not ask for anything more.
this past may he bought a house a couple blocks over from his parents house, and just a few minutes drive from my parents house. me, my pup [ellie], and my kitty [luna] moved in with him, then i bought a fish [rudy] and in july we adopted another dog [lacey] from an old teacher of mine. all three animals get along really well, but lacey is kind of a terror. she was fine when we first got her but just over the last like month, she has been destroying the house when we leave! from breaking glasses and pie pans, to eating the mail, the trash, our shoes, dvd cases, and just this past weekend, our remote for the cable box! [we havent been able to watch anything from our dvr since wednesday!] speaking of which, i need to call brighthouse and see what they can do about giving me another remote...and me not having to pay for it!
back to me and v; just a couple months ago we started doing yoga at a local studio one of our friends attends. it has changed our lives in so many ways. from how we feel, to what we eat, to how we look! it is the most amazing thing i've ever done,
seriously. i make better decisions when i'm trying to pick something to eat or snack on now, and its not like forced, i do it because i want to. because i know it will make me feel better. i chew a piece of gum for dessert after lunch everyday at work.
speaking of...i work at a law firm as a receptionist and attend community college. i take all my courses online and do all my schoolwork at work. it works out really well because i dont do ANYTHING at work, besides answer a phone call or two and watch tv; so being in school makes me feel like a little less of a lazy ass. i'm going to school for elementary education and hope to be a 2nd grade teacher before i'm 30 [lol].
i hate math and i'm required to take 2 retard math classes before i can get in the college level math classes. i'm in my first one right now and i'm doing pretty well...but next week i have to take a state test and if i miss more than 6 out of 30 questions, i fail the test AND the class! english on the other hand, is my absolute favorite subject. want me to write a paper? okay! i would write a paper every day for the rest of the time i'm in college if it meant i didnt have to take another math class. for realz.
i
like love music and television. i watch grey's anatomy, 16 and pregnant, teen mom, gilmore girls, icarly, hannah montana forever, man vs. food, diners, drive ins, and dives, what i like about you, and house hunters. i'm currently listening to a lot of eisley, kid cudi, and feist. i dont like the radio.
oh, and I FREAKING LOVE TWILIGHT. the books, the movies, the edward. YES,

i know this post is like allovertheplace, but thats how i do. with blogs, school, and life.
i dont like to party or be around a lot of people, especially people i dont know. v calls me a turtle sometimes because when i'm around a lot of people, i basically turn in to a turtle [except i wish i really had a shell i could hide in]. i dont have a lot of friends, but the ones i have i like a lot. i hang out with v more than anyone and i would not have it any other way. i need him. we also hang out with my sister and her boo, our friend/old roomie, and our newish friends and their newnew baby!
thats pretty much all i can think of right now. it's almost 12 which means i'll be able to go on facebook until 2, yeah...my work blocks like EVERYTHING and has some websites unblocked from the hours of 12-2. which is when you're supposed to take lunch but i take mine at 2 so i can take full advantage of open interwebz. lol. i'll probably make another post later today with some pictures! yay!
