Bedtime Headache

Last night around 10:40 I started feeling the beginning of a headache. The kind that starts in my neck and creeps up my head, into my jaw, and then in my eye, and gets so much worse on the way. When we were getting ready for bed at 11, I decided to take a caffeine pill that my sister gave me the last time I had this headache, because it got rid of it within 30 minutes. That was awesome, because with these headaches, nothing ever got rid of them. So I decided that not being able to sleep for a few hours would be worth not having to suffer through this headache that was coming for me, so I took one.

2 hours later my head is increasingly more achy. I lay wide awake next to V, snoring away, comfortable in his slumber, and begin to regret taking the caffeine pill, because this time it didn't work for my headache, but it did a great job in keeping me awake! I think I finally fell asleep somewhere between 3:30 and 4? I guess the caffeine wore off, because I still had a headache; although it was less painful because V woke up with me for a while and rubbed my head.

I woke up just before 10 to an Ellie bark. It was the kind she makes when she's trying to wake me up.

So here I sit, blogging, and thankfully my headache is gone. I don't understand why I get those headaches, but they really suck! Today isn't supposed to be as hot as yesterday, thank god. I got too hot in the house yesterday, the thermostat read 80 degrees for too long. Today's high is 74 and rainy, hopefully it makes for a cool rain, and not a muggy one. We had to break out the sheet last night because we were both really hot under the comforter. It's so much more work to make the bed when you have to deal with the sheet!
