Card Maker

This morning after school I went to Walmart to get some cardstock. I wanted to make my own Christmas cards so I didn't have to spend a lot of money. I got two packs of pretty basic colors for $5 each, which wasn't bad at all, considering each pack has 30 pieces of paper and I've already made like 11 cards, and used maybe 5 sheets of paper? Awesome! So far I've made each card different, but I've run out of ideas, so tomorrow I'll be finishing up with duplicates. They're all so cute, even cuter than I was expecting. I'm thrilled with how they all look! I worked on them for almost 6 hours! My back is sore and I cannot wait to do some yoga, I need it!

I've been looking at a lot of stuff on Pintrest lately and I've seen "Elf on the Shelf" everywhere! I googled him, and he's supposed to tell Santa who should be on the naught list, and who should be on the nice list. He reports back to Santa every night, so the next day he's in a different place in the house...and he's sneaky! I think it's a super cute idea, even though I don't have a kid! I wanted to get one, but I checked on Target.com and they're $30! Maybe I'll make a lookalike. Ha! I was thinking of posting a picture of where he goes each day on my blog. I could do it each year for the whole month of December (even though I'm a week late this year). We'll see what happens tomorrow!
