Today I hung out with my sister, all day! After I got out of school, I picked her up and we hung out at my house for a while, then we went to yoga which was LOVELY! Then we went to dinner at Brio with my mom and it.was.delicious! :]

I'd post more, but we're watching Big Brother and they're about to compete in the Veto Competition and I don't wanna miss it!

Muffin Kick

The past 2 weeks I've been on a muffin kick. I made a batch of blueberry muffins two weeks ago and V and I enjoyed them all week long for breakfast! Then when we ran out, I made another batch, but I used a different recipe, because I thought the blueberry muffins would be good with a little cinnamon. So I got a cinnamon blueberry muffin recipe and I have to admit, it wasn't as good as the first batch, but we still enjoyed them. We have 2 of those muffins left still, but I'm bored this afternoon, and I looked up a recipe for cinnamon muffins (no blueberries left in this house!). I didn't want to have to go out and buy anything, and I had all the ingredients here for cinnamon muffins. The second batch (which is only 4), is in the oven now, just finishing up. I made 16 total and I just had one...they're super yummy! They remind me of winter, which is nice :]

This morning I went to Chick-Fil-A to get a free chicken biscuit for breakfast! After that, I stopped at Petco to buy Luna (my kitteh) a new bag of food. I changed her food the last time I got the dogs a bag, and she hates it, so I went back to her old brand and she's happy as a clam. After Petco, I went to FedEx to print out flyers for Carol.

I'm posting one in each bathroom at my yoga studio, hoping people will take my number & email address and someone will want her! She's getting to be toooooo much for this house!

After I printed those, I went to American Eagle and got a new sweater (for our trip to NC next month!), and two tank tops to go under the sweater. 

Now I'm home, debating on whether or not I want to do my homework. I don't really want to right now...I'd rather watch SVU, lol. 

I'm thinking about going through my closet and getting rid of the clothes I don't wear anymore because I have a lot. Too many, tbh. It's a little ridonk. 

Yesterday I made an ankle bracelet! Woo! Yeah, I'm 24...and wearing an ankle bracelet...you jealous?

Labor Day

I almost missed my update for the day! We spent our morning lounging at the house, then headed over to our friends house for a couple hours. Then we visited with V's parents, and after we left there, we went back over to our friends house for dinner. We I also helped them fill the top of their dining room table with beer bottle caps.

It looks pretty awesome. They're going to cover it with something, to keep it clean and such...they just don't know what they're going to use yet.

Today I gave my sister a french braid headband to match mine. I'm becoming quite the braiding pro, if I do say so myself!

College Mathematics Day 1

Well. This morning I went to my first day in my new math class. I was really nervous about it last night...mostly because I don't feel like I learned anything from college algebra last semester. But a few minutes into class, a girl said that she signed up for this class so she didn't have to take college algebra. I didn't know it, but apparently college algebra isn't a prerequisite for college math, which means I'm in the clear! My professor is super nice, and funny, and very relatable. He wants to make sure everyone understands everything before he moves on to the next subject, which is really nice. And even though the class is almost 3 hours long, it went by surprisingly fast. Hooray!

We got our first homework assignment, and it's only 22 problems...which totally isn't a lot, AND we have two weeks before its due! I'm going to try and do it today so I don't forget all the stuff I just learned, and so I won't have to worry about it for the next 2 weeks.

Hello Labor Day weekend! I cannot believe its September. This afternoon when I went outside to hang some clothes up on the line, I noticed it wasn't super humid, and that the breeze was kind of pleasant.

French Braid Headband!

I tried my hand at another braided headband, but instead of doing a Dutch braid, I did a French braid (which I've had a lot more practice with, and I'm a lot better with!). I'm very pleased with how it came out, except for the side I began on. I'd like to start a little more behind my ear because it doesn't really start looking super braid-ey until after a few twists. But I think this might be my new favorite hairstyle (especially for when my hair is messy or dirty!) I wanted to do it today because my hair looked awful down because I haven't washed it since Sunday. Yep.

This time it looked more like a braid, instead of a wannabe braid.

This morning I went grocery shopping and came home to a lovely stench in my house. I couldn't figure out what it was...I thought it was just the gross stank-ass dogs being gross. So I got some Febreze to spray in the air, and when I got to the last room to spray, I spotted a huge, fresh turd. YUM. I'm so over this carpet...and having 3 dogs. It's just too much. I'm thinking about doing a little research on stained cement floors in houses because that's what's under our carpet, and I can bet you millions of dollars that if this carpet was no longer in the house, it would smell so.much.better.
