Godmother

Today I became a godmother to this sweet little angel! <3

We had her service at church this morning, then went to her grandma's house to eat. 

After spending the morning and afternoon in the company of my new goddaughter, Carmella Rose, and her family, we visited with V's parents for a little bit and then V got a hair cut.

Now we're home for the day, and I'm very happy about that! Time changed overnight, so now it's going to be dark by like 6.

Toms in the Machine

Today I have absolutely nothing to do. This morning I got the house vacuumed really well and washed all the rugs, and my Toms! They were looking a little sad and dirty and they smelled AWFUL! So I put them in the washing machine in a pillowcase, with some towels. They look and smell SO much better, and I'm thrilled to know that I can just throw them in the machine from now on!

Now they're spending the afternoon hanging on the line, hopefully they'll dry before the evening comes. It might take a while because the sun isn't shining today...but the wind is ripping! We'll see!

I have nothing to do for the rest of the day besides babysit later this evening. I could do some math homework, or write a paper for humanities, but I'd really rather not...lol. 

Time to Register!

For classes, of course! I'm currently registered for my LAST humanities class (which I'm taking online, with V), Intro to Interpreting (YIKES), and ASL III (which is taught by Jason, who is Deaf. OMG.). I need to also sign up for Interpreting I, but I can't, unless my current ASL II professor overrides it, and I've emailed her twice about it and she hasn't replied. It's starting to get on my nerves!

Right now we're watching House Hunters on the couch, Ellie laying on my side, V by my legs, and Lunes by my head. I'm so happy <3

Speaking of Luna, she's doing SO well! She's gotten completely back to her crazy, sweet little self. She's back to her nightly crazy-modes, and I've started playing with her every night, which we both enjoy!

Tomorrow V has to work and I have nothing planned. Who knows what I'll end up doing...I kind of need to clean, but meh...

Nail Polish!

I've been really into painting my fingernails lately! Usually I don't like to do it because it chips off so quick, but for some reason now it doesn't seem to bother me much. I'm really digging them being painted! I picked this color for the season, and I think its appropriate!

I have silver sparkles over my ring fingers because it's in style, duh! 

Today I'm meeting my dad for lunch, and then hanging out with my mom. We're going to put out her fall decorations, and she's going to give me some! Woo! I don't have ANYTHING for fall that isn't Halloween, except for a twig pumpkin and a brown tablecloth with leaves on it. It makes me sad, lol.

I'll need to come home at a decent time though so I can do my math homework because it's due tomorrow. Blah! There are only like SIX WEEKS left in this semester, and then I have like two weeks off before the spring semester starts. Then my schedule is going to be crazy for the following four months. 

I want to buy a new color for my nails that is fall-ish, but I can't think of a good color! Maybe a dark orange? I want to wait til December to use red, and I don't want to keep my nails green all month long!

Day Off!

This morning I got a text from Rose's mom saying that I won't have to pick her up from school, because she's not going. So I had a free day, woo! I got my humanities exam done, and I'm going to yoga soon! Tonight I'm meeting my best friend at her church to meet up with her pastor to arrange things for her daughter's (my goddaughter) christening this weekend.

So much sunshine!

No More Tube!

Today Luna got her feeding tube out. HOORAY!!!!!!!! I'm thrilled, and so is she! As soon as we got home, she went to town cleaning everything she couldn't reach when the tube was in. I am so very happy that she's doing so well. This was the perfect way to kick off a new month.

Speaking of...I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S ALREADY NOVEMBER. Where has the year gone?!?!?!

As you know, I made a Chococat costume for Halloween. I wore it last night while I passed out candy, and the kids loved it! As did I.
