Family Tree?

I'm supposed to make a family tree for my education class and I don't really know how to make one! Like...how far back am I supposed to go, and am I supposed to include everyone in my family? It has to be done by Friday and I'm not really looking forward to doing it. I'll need to go to my parents house tomorrow to get some old family pictures to put in it...I want it to be good! I need a good grade on it to bring my grade up in that class!

And on that note, we took our first math test last night and I cant wait to get my grade back tomorrow, I have a pretty good feeling about it!
