I've been looking at a lot of stuff on Pintrest lately and I've seen "Elf on the Shelf" everywhere! I googled him, and he's supposed to tell Santa who should be on the naught list, and who should be on the nice list. He reports back to Santa every night, so the next day he's in a different place in the house...and he's sneaky! I think it's a super cute idea, even though I don't have a kid! I wanted to get one, but I checked on Target.com and they're $30! Maybe I'll make a lookalike. Ha! I was thinking of posting a picture of where he goes each day on my blog. I could do it each year for the whole month of December (even though I'm a week late this year). We'll see what happens tomorrow!

Card Maker
This morning after school I went to Walmart to get some cardstock. I wanted to make my own Christmas cards so I didn't have to spend a lot of money. I got two packs of pretty basic colors for $5 each, which wasn't bad at all, considering each pack has 30 pieces of paper and I've already made like 11 cards, and used maybe 5 sheets of paper? Awesome! So far I've made each card different, but I've run out of ideas, so tomorrow I'll be finishing up with duplicates. They're all so cute, even cuter than I was expecting. I'm thrilled with how they all look! I worked on them for almost 6 hours! My back is sore and I cannot wait to do some yoga, I need it!

Christmas Tree!!!!
Today was the day! I was so excited to go to a Christmas tree farm and cut down a tree! We took a hayride around the farm and got off where we thought we'd be able to find a fraser fir.
Finding out quickly that there are none in the ground, they're all really piney and we didn't like them. Luckily they also had a pre-cut tree area, so we all ended up getting one that was already cut!

I absolutely love it! I got it lit up and decorated already, which I'm quite proud of!
I guess it's a little crooked but oh well! I still love it.
Here are the new ornaments I've gotten since last year:
This one I got while we were in North Carolina at a Christmas shop. V's mom actually bought it for me!
My mom bought me this one from Target about a month ago :]
She got me this one from Target too!
For V!
For me!
She got me this one from Target too, I liked it because it reminded me of V.
I got this one from the Christmas tree farm we went to this morning! It was only like $1.64, and it was too cute to pass up!
And this one is one of my favorites that I made when I was a kid!

Busy Babysitting!
This morning I woke up early to go over to my mom's to help her set up for a garage sale. I had a few things to add to it, and I ended up making a little bit of money! Holler! Around noon I went across the street to babysit for a family friend. She has a boy, Ryan, and a girl, Nora. Nora was napping for about half of the time I was over, so me and Ryan watched a movie, then I had him make a Christmas list that I told him I'd mail to Santa for him.
1. a new DS
2. to be in ninth grade
3. slap bracelet
4. ticket to legoland
5. a new sister
I asked him why he would want a new sister, and he didn't answer me. After Nora woke up we went outside to play and I met another neighbor who was conveniently looking for a babysitter, so we exchanged numbers! Score! I was there until around 5:30, went home to shower and relax for 20 minutes, and now I'm babysitting again for a friend of my sister's! Their house is absolutely freaking amazing though, so it's cool. I'm making some cookies for a party we're going to tomorrow and their kitchen is freaking BOMB. It's huge and has a ton of counter space, and their oven is baking my cookies to perfection.
Tomorrow is the day we go get our Christmas tree and I'm so excited! I just cant wait to have it up in the house and decorate it!

Busy Friday
Today I attended my 3rd to last math class EVAR. Next week we have a review, and the following week is our final and then I will never be in a math class evar again!
After class I met up with my mom and we picked up Cyrano's ashes. He is heavy! They engraved a little plaque on the front of his box that says "Cyrano Greene, Loved Since 1996". It's perfect. There's also a little slot at the top where you can put in a picture. My mom was looking through old pictures and decided to put this one in for the season :]

That's me...probably around the age of 10.
After that we met up with V and my dad and went to lunch. Then I hung out with my mom for a little bit longer, ran a few errands with V, and now we're home for the night. YAY! I'm going to be busy once again tomorrow, babysitting my day (and night) away, so I won't see V at all. Big bummer! :[ But then on Sunday we're going to cut down our very own Christmas tree which I'm very excited about!

The Usual Thursday...Mostly!
Today I went grocery shopping, which is what I normally do on Thursdays. But before grocery shopping I met up with my mom and sister for breakfast!
Tonight a friend that I haven't seen since high school is coming to yoga with me and V! I'm super excited to see her and bring her to OPY! I absolutely love it when new people come to yoga with me and I hope she likes it!
I have this extra credit assignment to do in my humanities class and I only have to write ONE paragraph about some art and I'll get 20 points added to my final grade. I've had between a 94 and 95 throughout the semester, but I just got a C on one of my papers that I wrote super fast because I wanted to get it over with, so now I have a 91. I think I still have a very good chance of keeping an A, but I KNOW I'll have one if I do this extra credit. So I'm definitely doing it! It's not often that I get a chance for some extra credit.

Cyrano
I am so so so thankful and happy that he was a part of our family. He is the reason why I fell in love with dogs. He taught me so much about pets, and he is the reason why I got my own dogs. He learned to tolerate Luna when I moved back home with her and I will always appreciate him letting her in his heart, because I know he loved her.
Rest in peace, Bub. Have fun playing with Lyka and Owen up there. Enjoy running, chasing squirrels, lizards and cats. You were the best dog I could have ever asked for.

Christmas Decor!
Here's how our house is decorated for the season:
V put up our lights outside over the weekend :]
The fancy wreath I made last year. It's my faaaav!
This little house was my absolute favorite decoration when I was little and when I moved out my mom gave it to me! There's a tea light inside lighting up the windows! I love it.
Cutest little reindeer evar!
My grandma Kelly made this a looong time ago, I think its really cute <3
Right after I finished taking pictures of the outside, V's mom stopped by to give me these poinsettias! I wanted to get some at Walmart because when I was grocery shopping last week they had ones for $3, which I thought was a great deal! Then when we went grocery shopping over the weekend, they only had the bigger ones and they're like $10. I didn't want to shell out $20 for poinsettias, so I figured I'd wait another week and see if they had the $3 ones next week. Then she showed up with these! They're super pretty! She's so thoughtful!
I added a little Christmas decor to my picture today to go along with my post. I'm excited about the holidays! I started working on some presents today and I'm THRILLED with how they're looking!
