Birthday Celebration

I want to celebrate my birthday beginning June 1st until the 23rd, when I turn 25. I want to do something special all 22 of those days, and the 23rd will be my birthday party. I saw this thing on Pinterest where a girl did "38 Random Acts of Robyn". I think want to do something similar! 25 years old is a milestone and I'm so happy to be here, enjoying my lovely, happy life and I want to celebrate it!

I think my two favorites that she did was buying a gift card at the grocery store and handing it to the person behind her. Amongst all the other things she was able to do with gift cards (I wish I had more money!). The second thing was the little letter she left for her mailman in the mailbox with a chocolate bar. I definitely want to do that!

I just found this website that gives you Random Acts of Kindness ideas! Definitely will be using this!

Kitchen Cupboard Cleaning

After I got home from grocery shopping this morning I decided to clean out the kitchen cupboards! I threw away a lot of expired food and just random shit that was taking up some much needed space in our limited amount of cupboard space!

I also sewed a button back on one of V's work shirts. I did a pretty solid job and I'm quite proud of myself! I'm interested to see how long it holds up!

I have like 28 questions of chapter 4 homework for Deaf Culture that I need to do, but I keep putting it off. I was gonna do it after I finished cleaning the cupboards, but then I decided to eat lunch and watch the last episode of 16 and Pregnant. Then I was gonna do it after, but instead I decided to sew V's button. Now I'm done and I'm blogging! I figure I still have a little while before V will be home (which is when I like to be done with my homework). I do want to get it done today though, so I don't have to worry about it tomorrow! 

It's already almost JUNE, can you believe it?!?!?!

Lazy Tuesday

Well today consisted of homework, rain, cloudy skies, laundry, sleeping animals and more homework.

Exactly! Now time for some yoga!

Memorial Day!

This morning we went for a drive and got some donuts from DD. They were delicious! After our ride we came home and watched it rain for a whiiiiiile. It was really nice to just relax and not be in front of the television! It's been storming on and off pretty much all day. I cleaned the house really good and we had V's parents over for dinner. We were going to eat outside, but I didn't want to take the chance of getting rained on, so I moved our bbq inside. It was delicious and I made some cupcakes for dessert!

I realized how many sweet treats I've had today after I made this collage! My oh my. And we're not going to yoga tonight because class is cancelled for the holiday! We're going tomorrow evening instead, and I'm thinking of maybe going in the morning too! Looking at the pictures of all the sweets I ate today is making me feel really fat!

Subtropical Storm, Beryl

Everyone on the news was making a huuuuuge deal about our second named tropical storm of the season, Beryl. Saying how awful the weekend would be after Saturday because of her, blah blah blah!

My morning consisted of laying out in the pool with my sister and the dogs. In the shining cloud, which was up high, in a clear blue sky. 

Then me and V spent the afternoon at a Memorial Day cookout at my cousin's boyfriend's mom's house! I met a few new Deaf people, and enjoyed this delicious lunch outside!

It's now 5:44pm and we're home for the night. Though its a little cloudier than it was this morning, we have still yet to see more than about 10 sprinkles a little earlier. We're going to take the dogs for a nice walk later and then enjoy a nice quite evening at home. Together :]

One Saturday Morning!

This morning me and Lacey got up early to meet my sister and her dog Millie, along with my cousin and baby Maddox to go for a walk around Lake Eola!

There were TONS of new baby swans and ducks all around. It was so adorable to see all of them! I wish I could have taken more pictures, but it's pretty impossible to take pictures when I'm trying to control Lacey on the other end of the leash in my hand. 

She enjoyed the walk, of course, and is exhausted! 

Later this afternoon we're going to my parents house for a Memorial Day cookout. Should be nice!
